2024 AARP Community Challenge

Among the three types of grants available through this year's AARP Community Challenge are demonstration grants for projects that enhance the digital connectivity of older adults, especially as related to disaster preparedness and response.

Created with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (commonly referred to as FEMA; see more below), this free publication for local leaders discusses the types of services, outreach and programs that can help connect and protect older residents before, during and after an extreme weather event or community emergency.
