Have a Seat
Now in its sixth year, the
AARP Community Challenge
has funded lots of needed places to sit — in parks and on plazas, along hiking trails and at transit stops. The variety and creativity displayed through public seating projects is inspiring.

Have Some Fun!
Our quick-action grant program has also been used to fund
fun
— for people of all ages. For instance, in 2021, an AARP Community Challenge grant helped provide take-home goodie bags for Grandparents Day visitors (pictured) to the Delaware Children's Museum.
