A Celebration of 'Legacy Couples'
The Legacy Couples Project recognizes same-sex couples who have been in a committed relationship for 10 years or more. The AARP Community Challenge (see more about that below) helped the organizers record stories of older long-term partners. The selected grantees for the 2024 AARP Community Challenge will be announced through next week's newsletter.

Among the funded projects will be those working to reconnect the residents of communities separated by highways and in support of keeping older adults connected and engaged.
