Meet the 260 selected applicants to the 2022 AARP Community Challenge. The represented nonprofits and local governments will be implementing “quick-action” community improvement projects and programs thanks to a collective $3.4 million in AARP grant funds.

Now in its sixth year, the AARP Community Challenge has provided $12.7 million in funding for 1,060 projects. Find lists of past grantees by year and by state — and discover (through articles, videos and photo albums) some of what’s been achieved.
