By changing outdated state and local zoning codes to be more aligned with 21st century realities, the state opens doors to more housing production, focusing growth on areas where development already exists and makes sense.
Strategies featured in Enabling Better Places: A Handbook for Improved Neighborhoods were used to make the housing-related zoning code changes described above.
